The Woodfired Oven Project.. Deferred due to our trip to the States for my daughters wedding. Then put aside because of the crummy weather. But now, the project is finished and the oven fires up like a bought one. The first offering was a couple of pizzas & a cheese bread.. C'est Magnifique!

Documenting the creation of a portable Kaissa set. A board game similar to Chess but with 100 squares as opposed to 64 in Chess and several more pieces. The object is to play city against city rather than trying to capture a King. While your opponent may resign it is impossible to Stalemate.
If I were to build another house as a 'getaway' on the ranch, this would be the best site. On a hilltop with a good windbreak for the prevailing Westerlies. Good views to the escarpment and Bywong Valley. And most of all... easy access. You can even go camping in the woods behind the site.
We've had this... "Structure" next to the house that used to be a 5 metre square water tank with 2 metre high walls. I've begun cutting a doorway into one side and intend to create an outdoor Hot Tub, Steam Room & Shower in the space. The hot water supply will be solar with a 6000 litre, insulated storage tank.
